If you look in the field scouting for tracks and scat of coyotes show that coyotes are in the region. Also take note of where to watch again and again, coyotes, as these areas that will appeal to your target. Landowners are excellent resources to help you creeps where they see coyotes on their land and they would feel called to be good places. Look for areas that have a high concentration of coyotes eat like rabbits, prairie dogs, deer and mice. If you want this kind of sites you're sure to find coyotes.
